There was plenty of surfing action this weekend from the British team in a variety of events all across the world.

Firstly we had the Euro Juniors…

Jack Unsworth became the U18 European Longboard champion in Morocco. The Saunton Hotdoggers rider was a clear winner on the flawless 4-6ft right-handers with 2 nine-point waves. This helped England to secure their highest finish ever of 4th place.

We also had competitors in a lot of the other comps at the Euro Champs. Max Payne finished 3rd in round 5 of the under 18’s. Ellie Turner also got a fifth in the under 18 girls. Will Masterman finished in 7th place in the under 14’s, Stan Norman finished 9th and Noah Capps 13th in the under 14’s.

On the other side of the world we had the WSL Longboard Championships in China with Ben Skinner finishing 5th. You may catch a glimpse of Ben at this years Boardmasters Festival as he will be competing in the WSL Longboard Qualification Series. Fellow Cornwall surfer Adam Griffiths also finished 13th in the comp.

Last but not least it was the World Adaptive Championships in California. Team GB and Chris Jones picked up a Bronze medal in the AS-3 Division.

Rick Pegleg also finished in the 5th place in his category, and Llywelyn Williams finished fifth in the AS2 stands/kneel. Spike Kane made the semis in the AS-5 assisted category and placed 7th, Martin Pollock placed 17th in the AS-2.

As a team GB placed 9th overall but with a team of only 4 out of a possible 8, so great news there too!
