Festival Glitter: Ideas + Inspiration

Glitter really is a must have for festivals big and small this summer. However, need some fresh ideas to make your glitter more exciting and interesting this year?

Glitter hair

One of our favourite looks of the season is definitely glitter hair. Despite the fact that you are guaranteed to find glitter in your hair for weeks, its worth it for this look. Make sure you use a chunky glitter for this, especially in lighter hair where it may not show up as well.

A mixture of glitter and face paint

This is probably my favourite look of them all and its something I haven’t really seen around much. This would also be pretty easy to do and you can add even more to the look with the use of face gems as shown here.

The subtle look

Festival season is always an excuse to go over the top with glitter and sparkle but if your face wants a day off why not try this more subtle look. You could also tone this look down even more by using a gold tone glitter for a more sun-kissed look.

This look also includes some glitter face gems which are a good addition to create a more subtle look as you only need to use a few to create an effect.

All out….

if none of the above looks are looking like they’re your style then you only really have 1 option left; you have to go all out. There really are no words to describe the amount of glitter that we have seen some people use so check out these photos for some inspiration

Logo_holo_2-01A lot of the glitters featured in this post are available from Projekt Glitter. The reason I love these glitters is because they are 100% biodegradable and they really are the best that I have tried. Now you can glitter without guilt.

Check out their website here.
